the album starts off smooth with an immediate recognizable west coast beat. as you continue the listen you will enjoy. i love it!
first out the gate is the moogish NO SLEEP. the snare hits ya hard over ya head. makes ya wanna dance. if you ca't just bob your head. move ya body from side to side. the baseline has got a catchy riff that is good. love the snare.
dj mustard hooks up the eerie BRING EM OUT. laid back west coast sounds with dj mustards trademark
, "hey hey hey hey hey" in the hook.
master p pops up on MILE AWAY. here he p rips the tracks to pieces. p has not lost his touch relaying street tales over west coast beats. p still doing it mayne!
