Devin tha dude continues to serve us with that cool ass smokey pimpish ghetto funk in 2013 with ONE FOR THE ROAD.
Devin has this talent to tell you a story over deep fonk and take you there. As if you are right there with him. This goes for the jazzy, IM JUST GETTIN BLOWED, produced by Tha Bizniz. Love the saxophone on the hook and the easy piano.
Making music for a long time now, Devin has been around for almost 20 years and he still got that, what made him a talented young brother in the game. His rhyme style borders on a lazy swagger. Like a drunk that wants to fall over but just ... Just manages to stay upright.
The first single PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE is a great song. A song from the heart.
He has the respect of his peers and one can almost easily refer to him as an elder statesman.
STOP WAITIN' puts you at ease. With Devin crooning over a gritty beat. The hard life of the ghetto. Reminds you of a smokey filled poetry joint.
REACH FOR IT feat: Snap is a murderous rumbouchous track. It rumbles with bass! Devin easily flows over this like water over Niagara. Its true, trust me. Lovely bass.
The more you listen to this album you will want to just play this on a system with fat ass BASS. HEAR THE SOUND is one of those songs. Fat ass BASS!
The title track is in it self a smooth ride, an instrumental that reminds one of DJ Quiks, Quiks Grooves. Nice man, nice.
I HOPE WE DONT GET TOO DRUNK is a damn well stroke of near genius. Over rumbling dope ass beat Devin and crew do what Houston rappers do best, hoping that they don't get too drunk before showtime. Rob Quest and Jugg Mugg former Odd Squad members join on this here ditty.

After so many months of push backs and delays Pusha Ton finally releases My Name Is My Name.
KING PUSH rumbles with drums and deep bass out the gates and slaps lightly like a small penis on your ear. Not threatening but just a warning to you that you should be prepared for what's about to cum.
Pusha Ton is a street rapper. He don't aim for the radio just for the streets. Cos the streets matter. Radio mattersn but really. Fuck the radio.
NUMBERS ON THE BOARD, numbers on Billboard perhaps? Naw let's get to the fact that, this track is bananas! Bandanna - bananas. Can shit get so crazy? Yes it can over Kanye West produced King Push murders the track to pieces. The rambling baseline is geeked up! "... How can you relate when you have never been great! ..."
Chris Brown lends his vocals to the haunting SWEET SERENADE. A dope track. Radio perhaps naw ... I doubt it. It hits you and slaps you up side your head and shakes you around like a dirty bear with a toothache. Swizz Beats gives this track a deep bass which makes for a grandiose song.
HOLD ON features the boss Ricky Ross.
40 ACRES is a sweet "love" ballad with The Dream on the hook an beat. Check the lyrics.
Pharrell Williams concocted the crazy SUICIDE featuring Ab-Liva. The beat is insane. It hurts my ears at times. The doctor hates seeing me when I say my ears hurt from a Pusha song. Pusha eases very comfortably over this track. I love it!
Pusha pays homage to Mase on the catchy LET ME LOVE YOU featuring Kelly Rowland. You won't get blamed if you mistake this tarck for a Mase song. Its all Pusha maaaaan!

MILEY CYRUS - BANGERZ (REVIEW)
So Miley dropped an "adult" album. If you listen to this project you can see that this as commercial as commercial can get.
A well planned and thought out album for the mass consumer market out there.
Guys you can deny it you like Miley more now that she is showing more flesh than ever. Everybody is taking notice and then some. But then again this "poppie" can sing. And twerk.
Being able to do a song with Britney Spears over a Mike Will beat is straight bananas. Damn. Up beat some straight track this is. Its kinda short and I'm thinking what was the purpose of the track.
Things get quirkier on 4X4 featuring Nelly. Again I ask what is the purpose. This is more for a hill billy teenage girl from middle America. Silly stuff.
Future hops on MY DARLIN' a semi cover of ........ With a 2013 twist. Sounds ok. But Futures auto tune vocals gives it that dirty edge just saving it a lil. A drunk anthem right here.
WRECKING BALL is a great ballad. Great song writing. Pop stuff yes. Good for radio and lonely nights etc. Bottle of vodka.
LOVE MONEY PARTY has Big Sean adding his 16 to a rambanchous beat by Monsieur Mike Will. Trap maybe or shall we say trap-pop? It works yes? You decide for yourself.
Adore You is a dope track, period. Some powerful vocals to boot.
Overall Bangers is a great album. This might just be Miss. Cyrus biggest selling album. She has grown up and so did her fans. If you ain,t feeling it, that's your thing.
FU is a surprise ... Elements of Amy Winehouse coming through ... Featuring French Montana here. You gotta love this one.
This is pop territory ... So yeah it will move units. Great songs over here.
