MMG PRESENTS ... SELFMADE 3 -REVIEW
One of the strongest out this year. So far the best of the three so far. One and two had all the hit singles but that's it. This one has the flow and all the elements for a great full album that you can play from track one to the last track.
The Lil Snupe Intro starts of things with a bang with a dope track and lovely beat. It sets the tone for what's to come.
Gallardo with Trina on the hook is like hot ... Trina gets guys hot. Trina gets me hot. Trina has a dope body. Trina is the full package. The get yo dick hard package, Miami style. This track is put out as Gunplay track but naw man. This aint Gunplay shit.
The Plug follows you of with that MMG trademark flows ... Meek Mill snaps atcha like a little pesky dog snapping at your heels. Kinda irritating but he got the skills to pay the bills. Meek is Meek but he aint that that meek. Maybe Meek will inherit the earth.
Lay It Down features currently incarcerated Lil Boosie. As per usual he rips the track to pieces. Like if you would put a chop in meat grinder. I heard other songs called Lay It Down before. Track is dangerous even putting $100 000 on Zimmermans head for killing Trayvon.
Beat Billionaire knocks out the dope Stack On My Belt featuring Wale, Whole Slab, Birdman and Rick Ross on the hook. This track can easily become a street anthem. Raps are flowing smoothly into each other and makes a pleasure to listen to. Street rap hits are made of these. Just keep on driving.
Stalley goes the solo route on Coupes/Roses. Over a laidaback beat with horns and aaahs he sits back n relaxes and spits his shit. His solo EP also available now.
I like smooth tracks. Pusha T appears on the smooth Know You Better with Fabo! Laidback and smooth the duo supports Omarion on this here track.
Rockie Fresh solos it up on What Ya Used To with Hit Boy who appears and is also the beat whipper. He raps and he whips beats.
16 tracks all in all it is a dam good solid offering.
